In addition to our national efforts, IDPI is also mobilizing people of faith behind drug policy reform efforts in a few key states. We work closely with the organizations and lobbyists spearheading the campaigns in each of these states.

For the foreseeable future, most drug policy reform victories will be won in the states through ballot measures and state legislatures, not in Congress. Therefore, if you live in one of these states you are in a unique position to have a disproportionate impact on the future of drug policy reform. You, personally, are needed here.

Are you able to organize a Drug Policy Rapid Response Team in your congregation to help meet the grassroots needs of the campaign? Are you able to contribute financially so that our work can continue? Will you send a letter to your state legislator about a bill? Do you know of an organization that you can convince to support a state policy change? If you have any other ideas, let us know.
